Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal
Alexandrite laser (wavelength 755 nm) works by targeting melanin in the hair shaft, identifying this pigment and destroying the hair follicle. Therefore, it is effective only on dark hair on fair skin. It is recommended for skin types I, II and III with dark hair. In all other cases, it is less effective or completely ineffective.
Our machine is equipped with a special cryo-cooling system, ensuring a painless and comfortable procedure.
Indication: Dark hair on light skin anywhere on the body.
Contraindications: Low or no contrast between hair and skin color, tanned skin, age under 16, menstruation, pregnancy and lactation, epilepsy, malignant tumors.
Preparation:
– Avoid tanning for 3 weeks prior (including spray tanning).
– Do not shave 24 hours before the session.
– Desired hair length: 1–3 mm.
Aftercare:
– Apply ointment as prescribed by the doctor.
– Avoid tanning, hot baths and mechanical irritation for 3–4 weeks.
Possible Complications: Temporary redness, irritation, superficial burns (which resolve quickly), or pigmentation changes if the wrong laser type is used.Session duration depends on the surface area. After the session, you may immediately resume daily activities.
